How to build

thriving

neighborhoods

Imagine a world where thriving neighborhoods are the norm—a place where community connections, shared values, and collective well-being take center stage.

This mastermind cohort brings together changemakers, community enthusiasts, and writers to explore this topic deeply. Together, we’ll co-author a book by sharing stories, strategies, and actionable insights for building vibrant, connected communities.

Where great minds think alike: a space to master creativity and produce original work filled with new meaning.

An immersive writing experience, designed to create a meaningful book and foster deep friendships.

THE PROCESS

How to create a valuable book in a month (without AI)?

The MASTERMIND uses a unique playful facilitation methodology based on cards which serve as building blocks for processing ideas collaboratively when co-authoring a comprehensive book on thriving neighborhoods.

Prototyped during the writing of "How to Build A Regenerative Village", and further refined through sessions hosted at Re:Build and Enspiral Gathering, this method takes the participants on a creative journey over a month-long residency that promises growth and innovation.

Using cards as the primary tool, the process covers :

  • Participants engage in activities designed to foster deep connections and a sense of community. These practices might include group discussions, shared meals, and collaborative exercises that build trust and camaraderie, creating a strong, supportive network.

  • Introduction to play CARDS to spark meaningful interactions and plenty of creative material. This is a key moment for team building, idea generation, creative writing, visual mapping, book structuring and digital post production, book structuring and digital post production resulting in a finished book project.  Dynamic sessions that cover specific aspects of semi-nomadism such as housing, travel, community and sustainability.

  • Interspersed with the creative sprints, these periods allow participants to rest and recharge. Activities might include mindfulness exercises, nature walks, and relaxation techniques to ensure mental and physical well-being. Alternatively, this is the space for you to work on your own projects.

  • Participants present the first draft of the book to a selected audience for real-time feedback. This process allows for immediate, practical insights and helps refine ideas through direct interaction with potential users or stakeholders.

  • Following the prototyping phase, participants work on refining and finalizing their book. This stage focuses on polishing details, integrating feedback, and preparing the book for publishing ready to go out in the real-world helping semi-nomads to find ways to belong!

“When we formed the Writers’ Smart Pod I did not expect our meetings to be so insightful, energy-giving, and productive. You designed the program with enough flexibility to meet our particular needs and working preferences. This is the most valuable and satisfying working group I’ve been a part of in a long time.”
